Mobile Data Now works by allowing a mobile user to access data residing on their computer by selecting a URL stored on their handset, this places an encrypted data call from their handset which is then transmitted across the mobile network to the Network operators data Gateway. At this point, the message is converted to HTTP and transmitted via the Internet to the Client Companys firewall. Mobile Data Now authenticates the mobile user and communicates with the company databases and email servers via TCP/IP and sends the user the data request.
